THE CASTLE FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

Discover the permanent exhibition with the comic strip character Lili and the yellow castle bag! The children’s area has lots of space for dressing up and playing games. Children’s birthdays at the castle are one of the special offers available (only in German).

ADVENTURE TOURS FOR FAMILIES

History comes to life during our adventure tours for families. On these on-hour tours both young and old are given an opportunity to meet people from the past and the present: The archeologist who excavated the castle explains how the great knight Peter von Hünenberg lived and how the archaeologists excavated the castle, a worker from the Neuägeri spinning mill reminisces aber her life in the mid-19th century and a customer visits the 1970s shoemaker's workshop of Xaver Blum in Risch.
