The Museum Burg Zug covers in its exhibitions different subjects. Next to historical also current topics are displayed. The exhibitions are accompanied by a rich offer of events, guided tours, aperos and workshops for public and school classes as well as seasonal events. The Museum Burg Zug contributes to a vivid city of Zug and supports the cultural life of Zug. 

To be able to realize this rich program, the museums needs patrons as the patronizing club Friends of Zug Castle. Be a patron and join the patronizing club to sponsor current cultural life and events as well as help preserving traditions and regional culture of Zug.
 
 

The club presents itself:
The patronizing club Friends of Zug Castle has about 200 members different ages. They are mostly living in the canton of Zug or next to it. They are interested in culture and history and spend time together at different excursions.

The club is headed by the following board:

Next events:

Thursday, October 21st | 2 - 3 pm: Stammtisch - A look into the collection depots by curator David Etter.
meeting point in front of the Museum für Urgeschichte(n) at Hofstrasse 15 in Zug, Covid-zertificate necessary

Sunday, November 14th | 11 am -  12 noon: Musical matinée -  The cello ensmble of the music school Zug plays at the Castle Museum Zug. 
Only for members of the Friends of the Castle Museum Zug | free entry | Covid-zertificate necessary

Thursday, January 6th | 2 to 3 pm: Stammtisch - A look behind the scenes of the Zug Castle Museum: Lecture and get-together
