Wanduhr
Einzeigerige Eisenuhr mit Stundenschlag auf offener Glocke. Auf dem linken Seitentürchen stehen die Künstlersignatur, das Herstellungsdatum «M. Peter Landtwing in Zug 1687».
Die Wanduhr steht in der langen Tradition von Eisenuhren. Der Aufbau und die Form dieser Eisenuhren sind heute noch bekannt und im Billigsektor der Holzuhren zu finden, unter anderem in den ländlichen Gebieten der Schweiz oder im Schwarzwald. Der Uhrmacher und Kohlenhändler Johann Peter Landtwing (1646–1726) begründete die Uhrmacherdynastie, welche sich über fünf Generationen erstreckte. Er war Stadtuhrmacher/Stadtuhrrichter in Zug.
