Die Büste stand seit 1977 auf dem Schreibtisch in der Wohnung von Philipp Anton Etter (1926–2012) an der Ägeristrasse 82 in Zug. Er war der älteste Sohn des Bundesrates Philipp Etter (21.12.1891–23.12.1977).
