Fotografie, Porträt Gustav Hürlimann (1882–1964)

Die hochformatige, schwarzweisse Porträtaufnahme (vermutlich Albumin-Abzug) ist auf Karton aufgezogen. Darauf abgebildet ist Gustav Hürlimann (1882–1964). Auf der Vorderseite stehen zwei Inschriften mit den Angaben zum Fotografen: «Reinhold Bürgi / PHOT. ARTIST.» (unten links) und «ZÜRICH-HOTTINGEN / 5. CASINOSTRASSE 5». Das Porträt von Hürlimann ist Bestandteil einer Künstler-Farbpalette, welche auf einer Staffelei montiert und mit Blumen verziert ist.

Beim Porträt handelt es sich um eine Montage im Fotostudio des Fotografen Reinhold Bürgi (vermutlich Vitus Reinhold Bürgi, 15.06.1872–1933) in Zürich Hottingen. Vitus Reinhold Bürgi war der Ehemann der Laura Bürgi-Heuser (1875–08.12.1964), welche nach der Trennung von ihrem Mann 1902 das «Fotoatelier Bürgi» an der Kantonsstrasse in Unterägeri gründete. Der porträtierte Gustav Hürlimann (20.03.1882–04.03.1964) war selber Fotograf und Landwirt.
