Lithografie, Postplatz in Zug
Auf der Lithografie ist der idealisierte Postplatz in Zug abgebildet. Im Vordergrund auf dem Zugersee fährt das Dampfschiff/Raddampfer «RIGI», welches 1852 in Betrieb genommen wurde. Rechts im Hintergrund sind der Kapuzinerturm, die Kirche St. Oswald und der Knopfliturm/Chnopflitum zu sehen. Auf der Fahne ist die Inschrift «Plan No 2.» zu sehen und ganz unten die Inschrift «Die ersten, allen Menschen ganz nahe liegenden Gesetze der Schönheit sind: Reinlichkeit und Ordnung in unserm Aeussern und in unserm Innern».
