Emil Dill (15.04.1861–23.05.1938) war von 1895 bis 1935 als Lehrer für Zeichnen, Kalligraphie und Mathematik an der Kantonsschule Zug tätig. In dieser Zeit entstand die Federzeichnung mit der Fronleichnamsprozession in der Zuger Altstadt.
