1982 Lego catalogue of products, for private customers

The landscape format paperback brochure was printed in colour and held together with metal staples. A hole has been punched in the top left-hand corner. A red Lego brick is in the centre at the bottom of the front cover with a large thought balloon emanating from it that contains a multitude of Lego and Duplo toys. The company logo (a red square with the brand name “LEGO” in white, black and yellow) and the catalogue year “1982” in black numbers are in the bottom right corner. The background is a gradient light to dark blue. The white back cover has pictures of Lego and Duplo products at the top with descriptions in three languages (German/French/Italian) below. The company logo is in the centre at the bottom with information about the publisher and printer in black writing below it. The catalogue itself contains various pictures of Lego and Duplo toys with product codes and advertising texts and captions, also in three languages. There is an introduction on the inside of the front cover, while the last page and the inside of the back cover show a list of spare parts.

From 1974 to 2005, the Danish toy manufacturer LEGO had a major production base with two factories in Baar (Lättich and Neuhof) and one tool-manufacturing plant (initially in the Lättich estate and later in Steinhausen).
